About

We made this because we needed it.

Cuttabl started with a simple frustration: finding the right SVG file for your project takes forever. You scroll through marketplaces, download files that look nothing like the preview, wrestle with complex paths, and eventually just settle. We thought there had to be a better way.

So we built one. Type what you want. Get a clean, Cricut-ready SVG in about 30 seconds. Three variations every time, so you can pick the one that actually fits your project — simplified, standard, or a creative reinterpretation you wouldn't have thought of yourself.

The files are optimised for cutting machines. Smooth paths, no stray marks, ready to send straight to Design Space. We obsess over the details so you don't have to troubleshoot why your vinyl is tearing.

We also write about crafting — honestly, without the fluff. The blog covers everything from picking your first machine to running a small Etsy shop. No sponsored opinions, no filler. Just the stuff that actually helps.

Howdy, I'm kev. I started this project literally just as an experiment to convert illustrations into cut-ready files for plasma cutters and laser cutters. My background is actually architectural design, welding, and metal fabrication — but once I started converting illustrations to be cut out of stainless steel I started to wonder what else these files could be used for. A friend who is a crafter told me to research Cricut, bob's your uncle, and here we are. I made this tool because I wanted to be able to create whatever graphic I wanted without drawing every darn line myself. So this tool is my gift to you.

Wren H.

Midnight vinyl cutter. Has a Cricut Maker 3, a tumbler addiction, and a folder of SVG files for every possible life event.

Mara C.

Wedding signage, custom tumblers, the occasional birthday banner. Mara has very strong feelings about transfer tape and will tell you about them unprompted.

✂️

Jules B.

Started cutting HTV "just for gifts." That was 200 mugs ago. Nobody asked, everyone got one anyway.
